
Vivian Serwaa Nketia
Vivian Nketia is the diasporan representative of YARRD. She is a seasoned educator and health-promotion specialist with over two decades of experience in Ghana’s education sector. She holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Basic Education from the University of Cape Coast. She has delivered dynamic instruction in vocational skills, English, and moral education, while leading school health programs that foster hygiene, safety, and psychosocial development. Since 2012, Vivian has volunteered with the Youth Alliance for Research and Rural Development, spearheading community health education on tuberculosis, maternal and adolescent reproductive health, and advocating for safe, inclusive school infrastructure. Now based in Scarborough, Ontario, she combines her organizational prowess, empathy, and problem-solving skills to empower rural youth through transformative education and health initiatives.
